Vision for Excellence: It is the vision of the Kingsway Regional School District to successfully prepare students for their unique path in life.
Mission: The Kingsway Regional School District, guided by our core values, engages students within a diverse and nurturing community dedicated to our Vision for Excellence.
Dear School Community,
Welcome October! Each year during the first week of October, schools engage in activities and learning opportunities that highlight the importance of safe and respectful learning environments called the Week of Respect. This weekly newsletter highlights our focus each day for the Week of Respect. We encourage families to extend discussions on these focal points of respect at home each day. The purpose of today’s communication is to share another update with our faculty, staff, students, and parents/guardians regarding the high school. The High School Administrative Team will communicate with you every Monday via this newsletter format. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to any one of us at your convenience.
Very truly yours,
Stefanie M. Fox-Manno, Principal
Farid Syed, Assistant Principal (Gr. 12)
Jim Zurzolo, Assistant Principal (Gr. 11)
Meredith Alexander, Assistant Principal (Gr. 10)
Steve Ottinger, Assistant Principal (Gr. 9)

PSAT Testing - October 12, 2022
The PSAT will be given to every 10th and 11th grade student on October 12. Here are some important notes for that day:
- The PSAT will occur during the AM wheel. The PM wheel will consist of bells 1,2,3.
- There is no make-up date for this test for the student who is absent or arrives late.
- Student test locations will be posted in PowerSchool and posted at strategic locations in the school shortly. Students will report directly to their testing location when entering the building.
- The PSAT student guide can be a useful tool to support preparation for both the PSAT and SAT.
- Seniors can arrive at 10:28am.
- Seniors DO NOT have an early release that day. Please encourage them to plan accordingly.
- Freshmen will participate in a program that focuses on developing pride, self-awareness, and advocacy during the AM wheel.
Should you have any questions, please contact your child's school counselor.

Join The Kingsway High School Advisory Council (KHSAC)
Kingsway High School would like to invite parents to become involved with their children’s education by joining KHSAC. The Kingsway High School Advisory Council (KHSAC) is an organization that consists of parents, teachers, and administrators from the high school. Its purpose is to afford the opportunity for involvement and input into school-related issues by all the constituent groups who are members of or are served by the school community.
This organization coordinates the many different constituent concerns in order to better maximize and focus discussion on school issues. It is the intent of the organization to foster an atmosphere of empowerment and cooperation that will promote excellence in our school.
Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. The meeting will be held from 6:30pm-7:30pm in Seminar Room 217 at the high school.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Mrs. Barber at barbers@krsd.us.
Interested In Being a Career Speaker for KRHS
In an ongoing effort to expose our students to a variety of careers and career pathways, Kingsway Regional High School is soliciting interest in volunteers from the community to come in and speak to interested students about their profession. Your visit will be advertised to the whole student body and interested students who sign up will receive a pass to attend your presentation on an agreed-upon day and time. If you have completed this form in a previous year, please complete it again as we start a fresh list each year. Your offer to share your experience, expertise, and time is very much appreciated!
Student Chromebooks: Expectations for the 2022-23 School Year
Our 1:1 Chromebook initiative supports student learning in and outside of the classroom. The district-issued device is part of each student's necessary classroom supplies, similar to a pencil, book, or paper. All students are expected to attend every class, every day prepared with a fully charged, district-issued Chromebook with the charging cord. We highly recommend designating a location in your home for the device to charge at night and to be easily placed in the student's backpack in the morning. Establishing this routine from "Day 1" is critical. Click here for more information related to our Chromebook expectations.
South Media Center Open After School
The South Media Center is now open for students after school. The SMC is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until 4:00pm. Students can sign in after school at the South Media Center. This is a time for students to work on homework/projects and to meet teachers for additional support.
Late Bus - 4:15 p.m.
Please be advised that the late bus will run at 4:15pm during the 2022-23 school year. There is no longer a 5:45 pm late bus.
