A glimpse at the good stuff happening in our schools!
Greetings MGSD Families!
With the warmer weather finally arriving, thoughts quickly turn to time outside and the approaching summer. It can become easy to get distracted from classroom studies as daydreams of having fun outdoors take over our minds. It is important, however, for all of us -- administrators, staff, and students -- to stay focused during this spring stretch to summer vacation. Make sure you take time to enjoy the outdoors as the weather becomes sunnier and warmer when you have the opportunity. If you need some sunshine but also need to study, settle in on your porch or patio. Sometimes the best classroom can be found outdoors! We are in the homestretch, let's hit it out of the park! :-)
Whether celebrating teachers or fundraising, it's a busy time at PVES!
The PVES Boosterthon is in full swing and students at Park View are raising money for a new rock climbing wall and getting some exercise, too!
RRES celebrates their teachers and races for funds!
Rocky River Elementary school celebrated some amazing staff members by announcing their Instructional Assistant, Beginning Teacher, and Teacher of the Year for the 2017-2018 school year. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing group of people work together for the success of your kiddos!
The student also participated in the Boosterthon Fun Run last week. The kids had a fantastic time listening to the upbeat music and running to raise money for a new playground surface!
Thank you to these South Shining Stars!
EMIS holds Evening with the Arts
MIS shows American pride while making MGSD proud!
The Mooresville Intermediate School Bobcat Chorus was honored to sing the National Anthem at the Charlotte Checkers game on April 7, 2018. The students sounded wonderful, and it allowed them to raise money to purchase new instruments for the music room! Shout-out to Ms. Jack for the great job she does with the MIS music program. Way to go Bobcats!
MMS Career Pathways
MHS Big Kids teaching our South Little Kids (and vice-versa)!
Ms. Lindsay Smith’s Marine Science class travelled to South Elementary School to read stories that they had created to their younger counterparts! It is always wonderful to see our Bigs and Littles working and learning together! :-)
