On Monday, June 16th at 2:00 p.m. BHS TED-Ed Club members will be delivering their TED-style presentations in the BHS Auditorium. Family, friends, and community members are welcomed to attend. The audience is limited to 50 people. Students have been working since January researching their topics and they are excited to share their ideas and passions! We hope you will join us!
Olivia Varghese
Olivia has a powerful message. Her talk will center around our culture's definition body image.
Manas Purohit
Manas will share his passion for science and will discuss time travel using black holes.
Cat Hoyt
Cat will share her views on a very important topic: lack of empathy in society.
Michaela Meneghini
Michaela will explain her ideas and present her research on the impact Western aid has on the developing world.
Divyansh Shah
Div's presentation will focus on the medical field, specifically biotechnologies.
Michael Seleman
Michael's will share his research and discuss the turmoil taking place within the Egyptian government.
Dan Pais
As a follow up to his talk on autonomous vehicles, this time around, Dan will discuss the lost art of car customization.
Yash Kamani
Yash will share his interest in the medical field and will discuss the role of technology in surgeries.
Shiv Gandhi
Shiv will share his passion for math and will share a theory he has been researching related to quantum physics.
Ansh Bhammar
Ansh will present his evidence and research on how religion is actually neuroscience.
Nikhil Thakkar
Nikhil will present the results of an experiment he conducted related to languages.
TJ Horgan
TJ will discuss why the win in baseball is no longer a relevant statistic.
Mira Mehdi
Mira will discuss her ideas and research on positive thinking leading to positive results.

BHS TED-Ed Club
The BHS TED-Ed Club is facilitated by Instructional Technology Specialist Jenn Scheffer. Burlington had the opportunity to pilot the club this past fall. Five members participated in the pilot and had an amazing experience. This semester, there are 13 members who have conducted independent research since January and are ready to share their ideas with the world!
