School is CLOSED on Monday March 20th.
Attention parents of third, fourth and fifth grade students: please be aware that family life opt out forms came home in an envelope with your student this week. Contact Nurse Britton for questions.
Boys on the Move will practice after school on both Tuesday and Thursday.
Spring picture day is on March 22nd.
Kindergarten Registration
Beginning on Monday, March 13th, families may start the online registration process for kindergarten. Completion of the registration process includes a mandatory in-person screening at your rising kindergartener's school on Thursday, April 13th, 9AM-7PM. For more information, click here.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday March 28th from 5:30-7:00 for the Byrd Bazaar! Classes, students and families have worked hard to create amazing items to sell. All proceeds benefit the Goochland Animal Shelter and The Connie Brice Scholarship. We hope to see you there!

Students should submit completed Go Nuts for Reading bookmarks by Friday, March 24th, for a free ticket to the Flying Squirrels baseball game on Wednesday, May 31st (the Flying Squirrels only had Wednesday dates for school events). The ticket students earn is only good for that night. It will be a special game night, with students from all over the Metro Richmond area. Students will be able to participate in an on field parade prior to the game. Additional family tickets will go on sale closer to the event as a fundraiser for our school. Is your student interested in joining our after-school Spanish club? Mrs. Smith (Cullinan) will be leading a club after school on Wednesdays through the months of March and April! Showcasing: GCPS Visual Arts (K-12th grade students) & GCPS Performing Arts (4th-12th grade students)
Performances: “A Pathway Through the Arts” Concert - 5:00 PM GHS Auditorium
Featuring 4th - 12 grade students countywide

- If you need to pick up your student in the office, please do so before 2pm. Pickup after 2pm should be done through the car rider line.
Any shared food items brought in for class parties must have an ingredient label.
