TARDIES | RETRASOS

The bell rings at 7:50 AM each day, and learning begins at that time! Students are LATE if they arrive at that time and must be dropped off at the front of the school. If you are dropping your child off at the front after the bell rings, you need to get out with your child, sign them in, and provide our attendance clerk with the reason for your child's tardiness.


La campana suena a las 7:50 AM todos los días, ¡y el aprendizaje comienza a esa hora! Los estudiantes llegan TARDE si llegan a esa hora y deben dejarlos en el frente de la escuela. Si va a dejar a su hijo en el frente después de que suene la campana, debe salir con su hijo, firmar la entrada y proporcionarle a nuestro secretario de asistencia el motivo de la tardanza de su hijo.

Parent Reminders

  • Car Tags- Please keep your car tag hanging and visible until your child is in the car.
  • Please keep in mind, that we will not release students past 2:30 PM.
  • Updated Contacts- Parents, please review your child's emergency contacts in the parent portal. If someone is not on the list, we cannot release students, even with their license provided. Please update all contact information!
  • If a student is dropped off at 7:50 AM or later, you will need to sign in at the front office.
  • For any changes in after-school transportation, please contact the office by 2:00 PM so that we have time to relay the message to the student and teacher.
  • Label EVERYTHING! At the end of each 9-week period, all unclaimed items (jackets, clothing, shoes, etc.) will be donated. Please write your child's name on their clothing and items so that it can be identified more easily.
  • Connect with your child's teacher by signing up for their teacher communication (Remind, Dojo, etc.)

EARLY CHECK-IN PROCEDURES

Parents and families will need to arrive early and check-in for the ECSE, Head Start, and Pre-K graduation (May 24), End-of-the-year Talent Showcase (May 25), and Campus Award Assembly (May 26).


Please arrive early due to our new safety procedures. Parents and families will have the option to do an EARLY Check-In during school hours before the events by coming to the main office, bringing their ID, and you will be provided a badge to wear for the event you will attend so that you will not have to wait in line for the event.

  • May 22 - Elementary Track Meet @Tyler HS track 9:00am

  • May 23 - Kindergarten Graduation 5:30 PM @TJA cafeteria

  • May 24 - ECSE, Pre-K, & Head Start Graduation 9:00 AM @TJA cafeteria

  • May 24 - 5th-Grade Graduation @Tyler HS auditorium 6:00 PM

  • May 25 - End of Year Talent Showcase 1:30 PM

  • May 26 - Campus Award Assemblies 9:00 am (1st - 4th grade only)

  • May 26 - Last Day of School - Early Release 12:30 PM
