KES Health & Safety
Message about Masking
This is the message we have been sharing in our school.
Up until now there has been a rule that everyone has to wear a face covering in schools and on school buses. Now, face coverings are no longer required in schools, they are recommended on school buses but required. Everyone will have a choice whether or not to wear a face covering in school. This is an important decision for students and their families to make together. In our classroom and in our school we will have some people who continue to wear face coverings and others who do not. There is no right or wrong decision and we will respect each person’s choice and be kind to one another. Let's talk about what it looks and sounds like to be kind and respectful about a person’s decision, even if it’s different from yours.

Bus Transportation Availability
Please check https://apps.fcps.org/transportation/status for bus availability.
Student Early Pick-up from School
When picking your student up early from school, please have your Photo ID with you when you come to the front door. Although we may have come to know many of you, it is important that we consistently check ID for the safety and security of our students.
Toys at School
Please talk with your children about not bringing toys to school. We are seeing an increase in Pokemon cards being brought into school each day. KES staff will not monitor for lost or stolen items. Thank you for your assistance.
Lost and Found
We have lots of cool clothes in the lost and found. Please remind your child to check for any lost clothing. In June, we will place the lost and found items on the stage steps during lunch shifts. At the end of the year, all remaining items will be donated to charity.

Last Day Of School
