CELEBRATING OUR STUDENTS
ROTARY STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
The St. Michael-Albertville Rotary Club is pleased to announce that St. Michael-Albertville High School juniors Emma Cliff, Ava Lenneman, and Alexis Phillips were recognized as the Rotary Students of the month for November.
“Rotary is very proud to recognize Emma, Ava and Alexis as students of the
month,” said Derek Brant, STMA Rotary Club President. “They have demonstrated a
commitment to academic excellence and represent the service above self ideals of
Rotary. We wish them a successful future.” The STMA Rotary Club honors students of the month during each month of the school year. The awards are given during the students’ junior year so they may include them on college applications and scholarship forms.
COUNSELOR'S CORNER
Mental Health
Your mental health matters! If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health please reach out. Mental health and social-emotional support is available at STMA High School. We recognize these are hard times for all and we are here to help. Click here for additional information on school based therapy, mental health resources, virtual calming room as well as some mindfulness and calming yoga.
We are all living in a time of uncertainty. Stress levels are rising not only for adults, but also for our kids and teens. Allina Health has a Change to Chill program that is providing resources to support you through a Mental Health Virtual Care Package for students, teachers, and parents who are all adjusting to the new “normal.” In the care package you’ll find activities for de-stressing that can be done as a group, as a family, one-on-one with a child or as an individual. We know our community can build resilience through stress prevention and reduction activities like physical activity, mindfulness and more to get through this challenging period.

Fighting Hunger
We know these can be challenging times for families. Every Meal is a weekend food program to help fight hunger. This program is open and free to all. Learn more about the weekend food program and sign up here.
Registration for 2021/22
Registration for next year will begin in mid January. Although most of your registration process will take place virtually, we still want each student to have a few key items in hand to guide them. Students will be receiving grade level registration materials during the January 13th materials pick up including Senior transcripts and credit checks. We encourage all students to pick up materials on this day. Registration information will be shared during homeroom on January 20th. As always your homeroom teachers and counselors will be helping guide you through the registration process.
