Old Favorites and New Opportunities!
We are so excited to announce our winter season! We have both new classes and returning favorites, as well as our new Single Day class offering. We look forward to seeing your students in classes soon!
Chinese New Year Celebration- One Day Event
Join the PTF Chinese Connections team to celebrate this exciting holiday! Come celebrate the dynamic culture, see beautiful costumes and participate in a traditional lion dance. Also, sample authentic Chinese cuisine and learn how the pros make fresh wontons!

Beginning Piano
In each piano/keyboard class students will learn to read and write music, learn to play numerous songs, experience ensemble playing, ear training, music theory, fun musical games, and rhythm and movement activities. Your children will love to come to piano lessons! Parents are welcomed to the last class of the session for a mini-recital to applaud your children's accomplishments!
Requirement: Students must have a keyboard or piano to practice on and be prepared to practice daily.

Honor Choir
NCA now has a place for your young singer to begin their choral journey! Honor Choir is for the 2nd-4th grader in your family who lives with a song in their heart. We want to nurture and inspire your student’s passion for singing!
This is an auditioned ensemble that meets every Friday for an hour of rehearsal, community building, and lots of music fun! We will have performance opportunities throughout the year to showcase what we have been working on. NCA has a strong tradition of fine music making, and now our young singers can participate too!

Jr. Detectives
Become a detective and solve mysteries in this hands-on class. Come learn skills that all detectives need to know like how to find fingerprints, decode secret messages, and find hidden clues with black lights. You will be able to learn these detective skills and more each week. At the end of each week, you will use these new skills to solve mysteries as a team with your class.

Drama Camp
Join us to explore your theatrical side this winter! Students will have fun, build confidence, and stretch their imaginations in K-3 Drama camp. Students will explore creative movement, pantomime, how to create a character, and storytelling - all through a series of fun drama games designed for young students.

Flying Machines
Let's go fly a kite...and lots of other things as we discover the awesome world of flying machines. From kites and baking soda rockets to hot air balloons and helicopters, there is so much to learn about the machines that fill our skies. This is a hands-on class with projects for students to take home and play with as they learn what words like aerodynamics and negative air pressure all have to do with flying!

Dance Party Fitness
Exercise might not be on the top of anyone's list, but when you throw in some fun music and awesome dance moves, students will be working up a sweat without even knowing it's good for them! Join Ms. Reed for a celebration of music and movement, bust a move and get that heart pumping!

Chess
Whether your student is brand new to the game of chess or an avid player, join the club and let's play! Chess is a game that is proven to develop strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, plus, it's lots of fun!

Babysitting Basics
The Lions Club Babysitting Basics Course will prepare your student to be a successful and safe babysitter! Students will receive certification through the American Red Cross Babysitting Basics course as well as receive live, hands-on CPR/First Aid training by an American Heart Association representative. Not only will there be great safety training, students will also have a lot of FUN learning how to change diapers, soothe fussy babies, and more.

Video Game Creators
For students in grades 3-5
We know our students love to PLAY video games, but how about learning to CREATE one! Third thru Fifth graders will explore the coding world through the use of the Scratch Application and work to create their version of the classic arcade game: Galaga.

Art Exploration: Color and Technique
Come and explore the wonderful world of art and color through various artistic mediums! Experience watercolor, oil pastels, tempera paint, and a variety of different techniques to create brilliant works of art!

Snack Attack: Fun with Healthy Foods
Join us in the kitchen to discover how fun (and delicious) fruits, veggies, and proteins can be! Create fun and healthy after-school snacks while learning the importance of kitchen safety, food prep and nutrition.

Makers Club: Movement & Motion
For students in All Grades
Explore the world of movement and motion through these awesome STEM projects! Come complete Kiwi Co. projects with us! Kiwi Co. is an innovative company working to inspire youth to design, create, and engage their world through engineering, tinkering, and FUN! Students will work with their teacher to create the projects from some of Kiwi Co.’s most popular crates and bring home 3 completed projects from their time together.

Floor Is Lava: Challenge Courses
For students in All Grades
Jump, Climb, Crawl, Scoot and Hop your way to success without touching the floor! Teams will work together to create "Floor Is Lava" courses to challenge the problem-solving skills of the other teams. Each day will have different supplies and course descriptions to keep students on their toes. Exercise, strategy, engineering and competition sound like the perfect components to an awesome class!

Trees to Treasures: Woodworking
For students in All Grades
There is so much satisfaction in building things with our own two hands! Let's turn off the screens and unplug while making toys and projects the good ol' fashioned way. Students will build several projects while learning measuring, project planning and pride in their finished hard work. This will be a basic woodworking class using hammer and nails, screws and wood glue (no sawing or power tools).

LEGO Builders
LEGOs are fun, but building LEGO creations with friends is SUPER FUN! Students will participate in LEGO building competitions and challenge each other to create everything from a new playground design to an entire cityscape!

Cheer Clinic
Cheerleading develops confidence, leadership skills, teamwork skills, performance skills all while exercising and having FUN!! Come and share your school spirit for NCA! Learn cheerleading basics, chants, cheers and a dance routine!

What is Lion's Club?
Registration is open by season (fall, winter, spring & summer) and includes Monday-Thursday after school classes, Friday after school classes, Single Day classes, and more! In the summer we offer new exciting classes every week in the morning and afternoon.
The goal of Lion’s Club Enrichment is to build a Christ-centered community for our students beyond the school day. When students are given the opportunity to connect with others who share common interests and hobbies, community and friendships will thrive!
When does registration close?
Some classes fill up very quickly! If you want to secure your spot, think about registering early. All enrollments are first come, first served.

How does my child get to his/her Enrichment class?
How do I pick up my student from an Enrichment class?
Please remember to be prompt! We have a 5-minute grace period. After the grace period you will be assessed a fee for late pick-up.
Students enrolled in After Care will be taken to the lobby for pick-up with their class at 4:45pm and will be escorted down to After Care at 5:00pm.
The class I wanted to enroll in is full. What now?
We cannot guarantee that a spot will open for your student, but full classes and waitlists let us know which classes we should offer again!
Do we have class on non-school days?
If school is cancelled for any reason, including inclement weather, Enrichment classes will not be held. These classes will either be rescheduled or you will be refunded for the missed class.
What is your refund policy?
You may always drop a class after the deadline, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
If class is cancelled for any reason, the class will either be rescheduled or you will be refunded for the cancelled class.
