Reminders and Updates from Dr. Bonneau
Food Deliveries: We are beginning to have an issue with food deliveries for students from delivery services (Uber Eats, Grub Hub, etc.). Please remember that the only food deliveries that are allowed to the campus for students have to be brought in by the parent or guardian of the student. We will not let food delivery drivers in the building.
Fines and Fees: Please check Skyward for fines and fees. We have hundreds of students that have fines and fees that have not been paid.
Signing students out: Parents, please make sure to build in time for your student to be signed out when you are picking them up for an appointment. We have to send a pass to the classroom to get students sent to the front desk and that can take several minutes.
Chromebooks: If your student’s MISD assigned Chromebook is broken or not functioning, please have them take the Chromebook with the case on it along with the charger to the Tech office in the library for repair or replacement.
Exterior doors locked: In an effort to continue increasing student and staff safety, MISD will no longer allow campus doors to be electronically unlocked at pre-programmed times for any reason during the school day. Staff members will still be assigned to monitor the dedicated entry points so students can enter the building and others can be monitored prior to entry. ATTENTION SENIORS with 1st/5th late arrival: The door that will be manned and open from 8:50-9:05 will be at the back of the cafeteria. You can enter there or come in through the front door by showing your ID.
Let's CELEBRATE! If you have had an experience with someone at Legacy and want to give them a "shout out", please send me their name and a brief explanation. We would love to make someone's day! My email address is stephaniebonneau@misdmail.org.
As usual, please reach out if you have any questions!
