About the Baroque Era
The Baroque music style had an interchange of music among different countries promoted an international style, even though the Baroque style changed frequently throughout the era it was still popular.
Baroque music is a style of Western art music composed from approximately 1600 to 1750.
Some of the Key composers during the Baroque ears included Johann Bach, George Handel, Denis Gaultier, and Jean-Philippe Rameau.
Baroque music expanded the size, range, and complexity of instrumental performance, and also established the vocal forms of opera, cantata, oratorio and the instrumental forms of the solo concerto and sonata as musical genres.
Many of the concepts that were used in the Baroque era we use use today.
The purpose of the Baroque music was for entertainment and religious purposes. There was a high demand during the baroque era for new music.
