Letter from the Principal
Dear Lions Park Families,
There have been many wonderful things happening at Lions Park over the past couple of weeks. Thanks to the PTO and Lions Park staff, students were able to enjoy Family Math Night and the Roar and Run. Despite the rainy weather, students had fun inside. A visit is planned for our fourth grade students on November 2nd. I am sure they will have an equally positive experience.
In addition to these exciting experiences, our classrooms are alive with memorable learning experiences. All fourth and fifth grade classes are taking part in the Global Read Aloud. These classes are reading a book and connecting about their reading with other classes around the state, country and even schools in Canada. We are thankful to our instructional technology coach, Ms. Patla, for supporting teachers in this adventure. Please see below for more information. Students in all grades were able to take their learning outdoors and create art installations outside the school using rocks and other items found in nature.
