Sipley School Weekly Howl
Monday, October 1, 2018
Once you realize that you're in something that you've always wanted and you don't want to lose it, you behave differently. And that means the integrity, the professionalism, and knowing what's right from wrong and still making choices that you probably wouldn't have made.

Focus of this Howl
The focus in this Howl is on PLC meetings so that we can get the most out of our collective and collaborative work.
Professional Learning Community Meetings
Professional learning meetings are tremendously important to student learning. Our chances of 100% attainment of individual student growth and student progress toward college and career readiness is greatly increased through the work that happens in PLC meetings. Below is a video that I would like all members of a PLC team to watch, prior to next week. Since we do not have PLC this week, this 10 minute video can be viewed during what would have been your PLC.
To be clear, a PLC is not a weekly meeting because we take what we discuss or learn in a meeting to change practice. It is a process where we learn collaboratively for purposes of action research used to enhance student learning.
