GYMNASTICS IS AN AMAZING OLYMPIC SPORT
In Greek gymnastics means “to exercise.” Gymnastics is a sport that helps gymnasts exercise and learn cool flips and tricks. Gymnastics is a lot like yoga. Gymnastics is for ages 5 and up. If you are younger than five, you are in a group called “ kinder-gym.” It is one of the most widely watched Olympic sports. Shawn Johnson is currently world champion in gymnastics Olympics. Gymnastics became an Olympic sport in 1896.
There are 10 levels of gymnastics plus elite . Up until level seven every gymnast does the same routine. Once at level seven, gymnasts get to make up their own routine. When using a vault, the gymnast sprints down a runway before hurtling onto a spring board. There are mats with springs under them. A gymnast should always stretch before their class. To learn how to do gymnastics you have to sacrifice other things. To get results on flexibility you need to practice consistently. Gymnastics requires a beam, bars, rings, the floor, a vault, and more. Gymnastics takes a lot of determination because it's not always easy to learn.
Gymnastics teaches patience. It also reduces weight. It increases your flexibility. Gymnastics teaches concentration. Doing tricks on a trampoline helps your tumbling and floor work. Gymnastics is a lot like yoga, it increases strength and flexibility. When a child does gymnastics, risk of injury reduces. A gymnast score comes from deductions taken from their starting score value.
When a gymnast is practicing gymnastics the gymnast should wear a leotard. When a gymnast is practicing on bars they might need leather grips. If the gymnast does not have any leotards, they need to wear comfortable clothes. As you can see, gymnastics is a lot of fun but a gymnast always need to be prepared for anything and always try to be safe. Gymnastics takes dedication, but it teaches a lot of things like flexibility and concentration.
INNOCENT MOUSE BREAKS A LEG IN A "HAUNTED HOUSE"
By the time goofy got all the way up to the top of the clock it was 1:00 A.M.
The clock struck one and the long part of the clock hit Goofy right in the leg! He dragged himself down the clock with his leg following slowly behind. When Goofy got down the clock, he hopped home where Mamma Goofy helped him wrap up his leg so it would heal safely.
