Something to Yelle About
The Weekly Newsletter for the Henri A. Yelle Elementary
ANOTHER AWESOME WEEK OF LEARNING!
Yelle Newsletter for October 15th!
Hello from the Yelle.
This short week really did fly by; it was awesome, but it flew.
As I try to do each week, I use the big picture above to tell the story of the week in pictures of us here at the Yelle.
The top left corner picture is of Mrs. Feteira working with her 4th Grade students in a Math Center. The top right picture is one of my favorite things to see in our classrooms when I catch our teachers guiding at the side of our students, as Mrs. Almeida is doing here. Then middle left shows our students working and learning together; one of the best parts of being back altogether is that we can learn together and solve problems together. That is where some of our best learning occurs. The middle right is of a student working hard on trying to solve his math problems; he was working so diligently to make sure he was getting it right, and so impressed with himself when he could show me how he did. The bottom left is another one of our #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay recipients getting praise from his mom on doing a spectacular job. And bottom right is of our first day of Library Class back at the Yelle with Mrs. Durmis; such a great thing for our students.
These and the other pictures from Twitter below really do relay a story of the incredible accomplishments our students and teachers have been able to achieve so far. Please check them out below and all over our Twitter feed to help to tell the tremendous story we are writing this year.
Please check out the rest of the Newsletter for some important information including ... PTO News on Trunk Or Treat, an opportunity at BSU, a food drive, Norton Library Book Sale, scouting, and much more ...
Please check it out.
Thanks; have a wonderful weekend; stay safe and well,
Marty
