eLearning Lessons
- All lessons should be turned in by Tuesday evening this week.
- Teachers will notify all parents of students who did NOT turn in lessons prior to Tuesday afternoon so you can be aware. I know sometimes I've thought something was turned in which was in fact not turned in... technology can be tricky for us all sometimes! :)
- If you choose not to complete the assignment, your child will be marked absent on this day.
Terrific Kid
Congratulations to Ella Grace Greenlee for winning an iPad! Ella Grace's name was randomly chosen among all students who turned in their Golden Ticket! More prizes will be given this week!
Step it Up Fundraiser Info
This week we will continue with the 5 days of WOW, giving away more awesome prizes.
I've had a few parent emails asking about how much of the money raised goes directly to the school. Here is how the breakdown works -
- 80% of the money raised stays with the school; 50% in the form of profit and 30% in rewards/incentives to the students.
- Step it Up also pays ALL credit card fees while competitors charge them back to the school or add to the donor for every pledge!
- We have done research with a few other companies used by surrounding schools and Step it Up gives the same amount or more back to the school, comparatively.

March of Dimes / March for Babies Fundraiser
During the month of March, North Pointe will be doing our part to support this great cause! Our school goal is to raise $2,000!
One of our parents, Brantley Reames, is a Development Manager for March of Dimes and is going to partner with us on this. Here are the ways in which we will support this awesome organization:
- Hat Days - Students may pay $1 to wear a hat each Friday in March.
- 100% of all School Store profit on Friday, March 27th will be given to this fundraiser.
- Biscuits for Babies: We will do a pre-order for Chick-fil-A biscuits to be purchased by staff, parents, and students. These will be delivered and picked up by parents on the morning of March 17th. Students can eat these in class that morning and parents will pick up in the front parking lot. More details to come about this soon!
- We will hold a student dance on Thursday, March 5th. Students will be able to purchase a $1 ticket to "Dance in Related Arts" that day. Students will go to the gym during RA along with all RA teachers and dance with friends! We will begin taking up $1 per student right away for this event!
