Change your thoughts and you’ll change your world.
Food for thought:
Negative thoughts are draining. Just as words are powerful, so are thoughts. If you find yourself thinking, “Work is hard, life is hard, and teaching is even harder,” try to reframe your thoughts in a positive statement, such as, “Teaching is hard, but it is rewarding,” or, “Life is hard, but it makes me stronger.” If you change your thoughts, you can form new pathways to the brain which may, in turn, change your experience in life and in this world. Actively thinking in a positive way doesn’t mean you are always happy. It just means you approach the situation in a more positive and productive way. Don’t let your negative thoughts hold you back. You are capable of so much more in life.
If behavior plans/strategies currently in place are not working, try something new. Feel free to reach out to administrators for new ideas. We can create a new plan together!
Note: Don't forget to give Caught Being Good passes and Positive Office Referrals to students who are displaying one or more of the three R's: Respect, Responsible, and/or Ready!

National Wear RED Day!
Why Go Red? Cardiovascular disease in the U.S. kills approximately one woman every 80 seconds. The good news is that 80 percent of cardiac events may be prevented with education and lifestyle changes. Go Red for Women advocates for more research and swifter action for women’s heart health. That’s why this year we are asking that you wear red on National Wear Red Day®
