What is conflict?
A serious disagreement or argument , typically a protracted one. When two people have an disagreement or problem with each other and can not come to an agreement.
Different Types of conflicts in a workplace.
There are 2 types of conflicts desirable conflict and undesirable conflict. Desirable conflict is when a small amount of conflict is sometimes beneficial because it may challenge employees and stimulate new ideas. While undesirable conflict is when the actions of any group or person interfere with the goals of organization.
The different types of conflict strategies?
Avoidance Strategy
Avoiding conflict at all cost.
Example: A problem that is going on in the work place that affects all and you try not to get involved or care about situation.
Compromise strategy
When you try to find an mutual agreement to a problem or conflict.
Example: Two people are arguing so you step in to help find a solution that suits them both.
Win/lose strategy
You must win at all cost and if you can not win then you will make sure everybody goes down with you or that anybody gets their way.
Example: An employee is having a conflict with another and they both want their way knowing one of them is not going to get their way. They make the problem even worse so nobody can win.

Desirable
A manager trying to make everybody better or work harder by making sales goal higher.
Undesirable
Employees letting past grudges determine their choices and the way they treat a situation or act.
