All Things Baker!
Principal's Message!
Hello All,
I am so excited for the start of our Raise Craze fundraiser and Kindness Campaign! The kiddos are working hard thinking of ways to serve the community, Baker, and their families with some very interesting and creative acts of kindness. Our hope is to not only have a short campaign of kindness but to carry that mission throughout our lives! While we may fall short because we are all human, the more important part, as far as I am concerned, is to keep our eyes on the goal. Keep striving to lead with kindness and grace in our interactions.
I cannot tell you how often I am touched and humbled by the selfless acts of our students at Baker. They teach me everyday to be a better person, a kind person, a thoughtful person, an empathetic person. I challenge us all, as we go through our week, to take the example of the fabulous students at Baker and be thoughtful, be empathetic, and be patient with each other!
As always, thank you all for your support and at Baker Elementary we believe In a World Where You Can Be Anything . . . Be Kind!
Sincerely,
Danielle Wallace

All the rest of the information you need is located in the attachment.
Raise Craze Update!
We are into heading into our first full week of our kindness-focused fundraiser, Raise Craze! Students ask friends and family for donations via the online platform while paying it forward serving others. They have been learning different ways to show kindness with the hope that the attitude of kindness continues well beyond the two-week fundraiser! We love that the students are able to spend time serving, not selling!

Helping Kids Navigate in a Social Media Jungle!
September 16th
Following recent town hall meetings, parents have expressed interest in a monthly “roundtable” forum to learn and share, working together in the complicated journey of parenting. Parents-R- Partners (PRP) is a no-cost, open, safe place to discuss real-life topics that impact our children, our schools, and our families. We are blessed to have three local family counseling professionals who will offer their expertise in brief presentations/ video vignettes on pertinent topics and open discussion, giving practical helpful solutions. There will be different and relevant topics each month.
This month’s topic: “Helping kids navigate in a social media jungle”
