There are several artificial lakes in the park which serve as promising sites to sight wildlife. The park consists of dry deciduous forest. The treasure of the park encompasses 300 species of trees, 50 species of aquatic plants, 272 species of birds, 30 mammal species and 12 reptile species. It is rich in flora and fauna both. Apart from tigers some of the other inhabitants of the park are Chital, Gazelle, Mongoose, Sambar, Indian Hare, and Boars, nilgai, deer, crocodile and Monitor Lizards.
