Hunting Partners or Enemies?
I need a hunting buddy
Why is the relationship between a american badger and a coyote Mutualism?
I'm a coyote, some people know me as Canis Latrans, I am on a search for a hunting buddy, preferably fuzzy. My next door neighbor says he would be glad to help, but i don't think that is gonna end well. Then, i thought, an american badger, he burrows, and i am quick. He can chase my prey out of their burrow, and i can sit their waiting, waiting for that juicy little animal to come out of its burrow. I got together with the badger, and we went through with the plan, I bet you, we both lived happy ever after. See, coyotes aren't bad all of the time.
Great Hunting Partners
The american badger can burrow. So, the badger chases the prey out of its burrowing hole, and there at the opening of the burrow is the hair-raising predator, the coyote.
