What is Hardware and Software?
Hardware is the machinery and the other physical components of the computer. A perfect example of hardware is the screen on which you are viewing this page. From a camera, to a TV to your phone; it's all hardware. Whereas, software are the programs, that run on your computer. Without software, hardware is very limited and without hardware, software would not be able to run. They need each otherwise, they won't work. For example, without software, you would not be able to see anything on your computer. Software is programs, such as: Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and office.
Input and output devices
Input can take a variety of forms, from commands you enter from the keyboard to data from another computer or device. A device that feeds data into a computer, such as a keyboard or mouse, is called an input device. Output is what the computer produces, once, it has processed. Input and output devices are all to do with a computer. Examples of Input devices are: cameras, mouse and a keyboard. Examples of output are: Monitors, printers and speakers.
