Aspiring Nurse Scholarship
Our website will award a $1,000 scholarship to an aspiring nurse who best demonstrates:
+ A track record of academic excellence, particularly in science and mathematics
+ A passion for the nursing profession and the overall field of healthcare
This scholarship is open to all high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN / LVN, ADN, and BSN programs. Scholarship applications will be accepted until midnight on June 30, 2016.

Montgomery County Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Foundation Scholarship
Three $1000 scholarships may be awarded to successful applicants who are currently graduating high school seniors and will be give in the following order to applications who are 1. the child of a fallen law enforcement officer from Montgomery County, 2. a family member of a fallen law enforcement officer from Montgomery County, 3. a Montgomery County police officer's family member, 4. a Montgomery County resident intending upon pursuing a law enforcement career and 5. a Montgomery County high school student or reapplying recipient pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Forensics, Education or Social Work. Professional Athletes Foundation Scholarship
Overall high school GPA of a 2.0 or higher, senior status, accepted to a 2 year or 4 year college, nominated by high school coach, participated at the varsity level in athletics for at least one year and has not accepted any scholarship funds or grants to participate in college athletics - Due: February 12, 2016 - pick up a copy of the application in the guidance office.

Gordon Orthodontics Scholarship
Must be a senior attending a state accredited public or private high school, must be a past or present patient of Gordon Orthodontics, have a 3.5 gpa or higher, ACT score of 24 or higher and have strong participation in school activities and community service. Due: April 5, 2016 - pick up a copy of the application in the guidance office.

Bowling Green State University Scholarship:
Scholarships are available to BGSU for incoming freshmen considering careers in teaching science and or mathematics. The program called Science and Math Education in ACTION offers recipients $4,000 for the first year of college with increases each year up to $5,200 the 4th year. High school seniors considering teaching either secondary science or math or middle childhood science and math may be eligible for this scholarship program. You Can Count on Me Scholarship:
The You Can Count on Me scholarship program is designed to recognize high school students who have a desire to pursue post-secondary education and/or training. During the 2015 – 2016 school year, ten students will be chosen to receive a $2,500 scholarship. Additionally, a donation of $250 will be made to the student’s school district in the name of the teacher he/she wishes to recognize. Recipients will be announced beginning late February, with a culminating awards program taking place in May, 2016 recognizing all scholarship recipients.
The focus of this scholarship is to provide financial support for students who have demonstrated a strong work ethic and who wish to pursue opportunities to better themselves through college courses and/or post-secondary training programs. Emphasis will be placed on students who have demonstrated their work ethic through meaningful work experiences. Work experience is not limited to employment outside of the home. Students who demonstrate a strong work ethic by assuming significant support roles within the home or who have contributed a significant amount of time and effort within their communities are equally eligible. Scholarship for students majoring in Engineering:
The scholarships are sponsored by the Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO) in conjunction with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE).
To be eligible for these scholarships, a student must meet all of the following criteria:
- be a graduating high school senior (exceptions noted in individual scholarship descriptions);
- have at least a 3.0 (A=4.0) grade point average;
- meet the minimum SAT (Math=600, Reading or Composition=500) or ACT (Math=29, English=25) test scores as set by the National Society of Professional Engineers; &
- be a citizen of the United States and a permanent resident of the State of Ohio.
