Assistive Technology
For Visually Impaired Users
VoiceOver
VoiceOver allows you to know what is on your screen and allows you to navigate it, even if you are unable to see it. This is great for users who have trouble seeing the screen or are visually impaired. Some items may include text messages, battery level, or whatever you are touching on the screen.
Text Imput
VoiceOver copies the text as you touch the keyboard. Moving your finger up or down allows for editing. This feature also allows the text to be read out loud to you. VoiceOver can automatically correct misspelled words.
Did you know that you can use your own handwriting on the screen, and VoiceOver will recognize it? Now that is a cool feature!
Apps
This screen reader allows users to use the apps and navigate them, even if they can’t see them.
