Citing Sources for Science Fair
You are Brilliant!
If You are painfully lost after reading ALL these directions, ASK MRS. HILLING (ME) FOR GUIDANCE
1. Login to Google and Create New Document
Give the Document a title that makes sense to you. NOTE: I would use "Science Fair 2017 Citations" (Also, I would put my name on the Document ... )
Google Drive - New Document
You will obviously need to sign in to create a new Google Document
2. Open a new tab, then type in the URL (web address) for your first source and hit enter
3. If your URL takes you to the site you used, proceed to step 4 (if NOT read below)
If you don't want to waste time... accept you are missing part of the address, go search Google again using keywords from your notes and find the site you used. Once you find the site you used proceed to step 4.
4. Click on the "Citation Machine" link below, then return to the tab with site you need to cite
5. Copy the URL of the article you are citing, then paste it into the Citation Machine
6. Change the display URL from No to YES before you click "Make Citation"
If there are missing parts, there are missing parts.....
