Classroom Technology Tool of the Month: Create Your Own Famous Person Avatar
Are you having your students complete research, a project, or a presentation on a famous scientist, person in history,, etc...?
Have them create an avatar to go along with their written report, project, or presentation. Avatars can be created in minutes and allow the creator to communicate a message as well. Simply go to http://www.voki.com/site/create to try it out.
Choose and Customize your Character
Select your character, then choose its hair, mouth, and clothing. You can even add some bling!
Give it a Voice
You can record the voice by phone, use text to speech, or record with a microphone.
Select the Background

Did you know that April is National Library Month and National Poetry Month?
To celebrate, the library will be offering the following student events:
- Title Trivia Challenge - Guess the book or author via Google Form (Starbucks Card Prizes)
