Classroom Technology Tool of the Month: Create Your Own Famous Person Avatar

Are you having your students complete research, a project, or a presentation on a famous scientist, person in history,, etc...?

Have them create an avatar to go along with their written report, project, or presentation. Avatars can be created in minutes and allow the creator to communicate a message as well. Simply go to http://www.voki.com/site/create to try it out.

To celebrate, the library will be offering the following student events:


  1. Title Trivia Challenge - Guess the book or author via Google Form (Starbucks Card Prizes)

  3. Bookmark Design Contest - Winning bookmark will be distributed in the library.
