Welcome to Friday. This newsletter is packed full of information, so I’m going to keep my message short.

Please join us! We will have a number of formal opportunities for you to join the PTA in the future, but also you are always welcome to come to our PTA Meetings. Your voice in the happenings at Riverside are very important, and this is one of the ways to make that happen.

March is reading month is here!! We are so excited to have a month long celebration of reading. we have specific days, that are listed below, please feel free to join in on the celebrations!!

New to our Riverside Newsletter is a tech tip section. Each week we will be featuring a flyer, which will include, information and tips about things that will be useful for your students while they are online.

Hard to believe that it is that time of year again to be thinking about next school year. If anyone in your family or someone that you know, has a student that will be of school age in the fall, please join us for Kindergarten Round Up. All dates are listed below. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office @565-4700. Cannot wait to see you there!!!

It’s time to register for next year!

Registration is an important part of the student scheduling process. Please complete online registration for all students who will attend Lakeview schools next fall. Online registration takes about five minutes per student and must be completed each year.

Register by logging into your parent Skyward account here: Skyward Parent Access.

Retrieve your username and/or reset your password here: Skyward Password Reset.

Please register all students by Friday, March 24.

Did you move or do you plan to move before next fall? Please update your address during the registration process. Students who move out of the district prior to next fall must complete a Schools of Choice application in order to return next school year. The Schools of Choice deadline is Tuesday, May 16. You can find additional information at lakeviewspartans.org/choice.

In the month of March, our 4th grade students, will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of musical instruments from: band, orchestra and choir. After our students see the demonstrations, they will have the chance to try the instruments to see what “fits them best.” This will help them make the informed decision for next year. Please look for more information to come home.
