Water you drinking?

A tip for teens

Don't drink soda, swap it for water

It's been a long day at school, so when you come home, you plop down on the couch and pop open a can of Coca-Cola. What's wrong with that? It turns out to be a lot!

Soda makes you gain weight, and a lot more of it than you think. If you drink one 12 ounce can of Coca-Cola per day for a whole year, you'll gain an average of 16 pounds that year! New research suggests that diet sodas are even worse than regular sodas. But they both can lead to multiple health disorders like stroke, obesity, kidney damage, high blood pressure, and even cancer!

So how can you keep your risk down? One easy fix, swap that soda you're holding for a glass of water. After all, humans are made up of over 60% of water, not soda!
