Bobcat Bulletin

Week of June 14th

Principal Petrick Message

Hello Bobcat Families,

Whew! What a week! So many great activities going on for the students. Enjoy the pictures below of some highlights from our Friday at FVES.

Friday we also took some adult time to recognize the staff that are leaving, highlighted by the amazing career of Janet Rabe. Luckily, since Ms. Rabe lives so close to the school, it will be difficult for her to get away from us, even in retirement. Here is a list of our departing staff members. We appreciate all of them, and wish them the very best on their future endeavors.

Janet Rabe

Christy Laman

Lyn Seres

Zack Binkerd

Lilly Todd

Suzie Hawthorne

Suzanne Brooks

Have a great week!

Thursday June 17th - Regular Day

It is customary to have a half day on the last day of school. However, with the shortened Hybrid days, the last day of school, June 17th, will be the same length. Students will be getting out at their normal Hybrid time.

Congratulations Mr. Binkerd!

We are sad to see him go but excited for his new adventure - Head Wrestling Coach at Pacific University! Mr. Binkerd has been a great presence at FVES, instrumental in not only P.E. but also with climate and culture activities. We will be looking to replace Mr. Binkerd in later June.

Kindergarten was a ZOO today!

Kinders got the opportunity to dress up like zoo keepers and had a special visit from the Reptile man!

Looking forward to recognizing our 6th Graders!!!

6th Grade Promotion will be held via a "Drive Thru" style where families can view from their car while the student will get out to be recognized in front of the main entrance. In order to space out students we are asking families to come during time windows by last name.

Last Name A - L = 1:30 - 2:15

Last Name M - Z = 2:15 - 3:00

After the main entrance recognition, students will return to their vehicle and proceed down the lane. There will be an opportunity for a family picture with Bozeman at the north end of the school.
