Reminders
Tardies to School:
- Students - please remember to arrive on time (the tardy bell rings at 7:30am), follow the dress code (page 11), and wear your mask
Food Deliveries:
- Students are not allowed to order food (from outside vendors, restaurants, DoorDash, etc.) during the school day
Student Parking:
- We are still selling student parking spots
- The price is prorated at $50 dollars for the remainder of the year
- If you have an assigned space, park in it. If snow is blocking your spot, please park in the very back row of the lot until your space is cleared

ASVAB Career Exploration Program:
- The ASVAB is an Aptitude Test along with a Career Interest Inventory intended to help students identify skills, interests, work-related values
- It will also assist with determining suitable jobs as well as military eligibility
- Sign-up to take the ASVAB at Kettle Run on Monday, February 7th at 9am
- Students must be 16 years old or older to sign-up

- Mountain Vista Governor’s School (MVGS) is a regional program for academically talented and highly motivated 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students
- Science, mathematics, humanities, and research courses are uniquely integrated to provide a college-level, project-based learning environment
- Prospective students and parents are invited to attend an MVGS Information Meeting. Faculty and staff will be present to discuss the MVGS program and answer questions. MVGS Information Meeting January 25, 2022 at 6:30pm. Here is the Zoom meeting link: https://vccs.zoom.us/j/84417826970. If you cannot attend, the meeting will be recorded. Applications for admission to MVGS are now available in the school counseling office at the base high schools or on the school division website. Completed applications are due in the student’s school counseling office no later than March 4th.
