Principal's Corner
Welcome back friends and family of Justiss!
Here we are at the beginning of another wonderful new year on the westside. Another year of learning, growing, playing, dancing, and celebrating lots of successes!
Although this looks to be another year of obstacles brought on by the continuation of Covid-19, we plan to continue to work as hard as ever to educate our students at Justiss no matter what restrictions are put into place. Educating students will always be our #1 priority!
As safety protocols change we will update you as quickly as possible through the school messenger system. To participate and receive text alerts on your cell, just text:
“Y” or “Yes” to Paris ISD’s short code number, 67587.
Please rest assured we are always doing everything within our power at Justiss Elementary and Paris ISD to keep your children as safe as possible at all times.
Thank you for your partnership in your child’s education and I know it is going to be another fabulous year here at Justiss Elementary!
Your principal,
Reneé Elmore

Counselor's Blog
Welcome back!!! ... and if you are new to Justiss, we are so glad to have you with us too! We are looking forward to a great year! I am very excited to share that I will have a part time additional counselor here on campus to help support, counsel and meet the needs of our Justiss students! Amanda Little, our former, beloved Writing Teacher and Jammer’s Instructor will be here every other Wednesday and on all Thursdays and Fridays! She will be a wonderful asset in this new role and already knows and loves all the children here at Justiss! This year, we will work together to offer individual and small group counseling, a comprehensive Social and Emotional Learning curriculum as well as continue our Core Essentials Character Education Program we have used the past several years! Mrs. Little and I are here for your children and are available for parents to contact us by phone, email, or in person! Each month we will be sending home activities related to our BIG IDEA Value trait of the month, as well as information related to our Social and Emotional Learning curriculum. Please help us by reinforcing those topics and expanding opportunities for them to practice them at home. Our emails are: andrea.irwin@parisisd.net and amanda.little@parisisd.net and we can be reached by phone at 903-737-7458. We can also assist with connecting you to resources and programs within our district and community. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure your child(ren) have the greatest opportunity for a healthy, happy and promising future!
Sincerely,
Andrea Irwin & Amanda Little

If your child is sick, they must meet one of the following conditions before they return to school.
