5th Grade is the Best!
Welcome to 5th Grade! We are enjoying the time getting to know your children. Their days here have truly been non-stop. It's hard to believe it is the end of week two.
We Need Your Help
Homework has started. Every student was given a calendar to write down their homework daily. The calendar can be found in their take home folder which should go home every day. We need you to help make sure your child is bringing their take home folder everyday and writing their assignments on their calendar. It's important for our students to develop this routine not only for this year but for the years to come.
Reading Project
Students have been asked to find a novel at a 4th grade level or higher and begin reading for an upcoming project. The project will be done in class and will be due October 4th. However, they will need to read their novel at home. Their goal should be to finish reading the book within about 3 weeks so that they will have enough time to work on their class project.
