HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!
Hope you are all getting some time in with family and friends and taking time to reflect on all the sacrifices that our men and women in uniform and their families have made for us. During this time I am so thankful for those in the armed services & their families do to help this country remain the land of the free. Whatever you do this weekend, try to find a moment to thank a service member - we owe so much to them!
There are EIGHT days left for us to get to our big, HUGE, team goal!
What we've accomplished as a team already is truly astounding, but we still need your help! This team is comprised of 73 incredible women and though I know that we are all in different stages in our life and our Stella & Dot businesses, every single one of us can make a huge impact on this team! So whether you haven't had a trunk show since November or you have been living off your Stella & Dot paycheck each month, I'm asking all of you to come together with me and push a little harder over the next eight days.
Why? Because we can. Because we are a unique group of women that inspires and motivates each other. Because this isn't about me, or the leaders on the team, or those who consistently sell every month - it's about every single one of us who started our businesses at one time or another and are still here because we believe in the mission of this company and what we can do together. And because it will feel so darn good WHEN we do this, because every single person that has sold $1 or more this month will have been an INTEGRAL part of this success!!! Because #wewill.
And I'm telling you right now - WHEN we reach this goal of a Senior Director team, we are going to celebrate big. I'm already planning the party in my head! :)
We have already sold $60,000 this month alone. ASTOUNDING! Our goal is $115,000 as a team, so we have $55,000 to go. A lot - BUT with the manpower we have, the trunk shows left, this is TOTALLY doable!
So here's what I'm asking you to do. Pick THREE of these suggestions and implement them this weekend. Again - there is NO SHAME in this game - whether you've worked your business recently or not, this is something we can all be a part of. Simply pick the two that you feel are most comfortable/doable for you, and literally copy/paste my words to say. You'll be earning yourself great commission, entries into our $500 shopping spree, a chance for an overnight getaway (thanks to our fun smackdown we have going on with another team) and you'll be helping out this amazing, awesome and incredible team!!!
WAYS TO GET SALES WITHOUT A TRUNK SHOW:
1. Send a tote of jewels, a few lookbooks and order forms with a friend/customer to work (or to play) for a few days! It only takes 4 orders of $300+ to make a show and get her rewards - if she has $500 in sales - she will get an extra $50 in product credit this month too!!
2. Take a tote of jewels to work yourself this week. Wear a statement necklace all week, and be purposeful in bringing up S&D! Remember, we have LOT of sale items to advertise!
3. Call a friend or a customer you love, and offer to plan a fun "Summer Style & Sangria or Margaritas and Must-Haves" trunk show this week! People are wanting cute new things to wear right now for Summer, and your hostess can get for free!
4. Go through past orders in the Lounge and look at your notes you made. Call any customers with wish lists. Maybe there are some items that are now on sale! Offer exceedingly personal customer service and call to let them know (Nordstrom would:).
5. Send a targeted email to past customers or hostesses advertising Summer is here, and the sale items, and offer free shipping until Thursday at noon!
6. Contact any hostesses with open trunk shows and offer free shipping to any additional customers that they can get toward their show! Get them helping you, and they will receive more free jewelry.
7. Call any future hostesses and offer free shipping for any outside orders they can collect NOW, prior to their show! Maybe offer to incentivize the hostess by gifting her a pair of hematite stud earrings, or something that you have that is discontinued. Let that older jewelry work for you!
8. Think... Where are women? Spas, Networking events, realtor happy hours, meet ups, Salons, teachers lounges, medical offices, dentist offices, boutiques! Where can you set up your jewels, take your tote of jewels, or bring in at the lunch hour?
Every pair of earrings sold adds up, and gives you opportunity to book more for September.
9. Do a fun facebook campaign! "Christy's pick of the hour " and post you in your favs! Offer free shipping if order placed by Thursday at noon.
10. Who do you know that buys employee gifts for their staff, and would be THRILLED you approached them about our sale items! They could get that stressful "to do" off their list. Trust me, they will LOVE you!
11. Have a customer who wants to place an order? Why not turn that order into an opportunity for her to collect a few orders from friends, and turn that into an online show! Create a simple invite for her, and she can email out, and best case, she gets the jewelry for free or half off.
12. Ask a customer/friend to have an online trunk show. Send them an invite, create a facebook event, give her some lookbooks and order forms and have her collect orders! She now only needs 4 orders of $300+ to get $45 for free and two half off.
13. Give your friends ALL a statement necklace to wear this week, and get attention! Send business your way and you'll give them one of your retired pieces as a thank you.
14. Check out all the customers that have been offered a birthday coupon to use this month! Reach out with a quick email saying "Happy May Birthday! I'd love to help you use your Stella & Dot birthday coupon code - message me what you'd like and I'll also throw in free shipping on your order!"
15. Do a FUNDRAISER!!! Look good while you feel good!!! That is a fantastic way to gather sales!! Offer to donate your commission to a cause near and dear to your heart, or do it for a friend's cause and help her out too!! It is a great way to make a difference!!!
