Principal's Post
Dear Parents and Guardians,
October is National Bullying Awareness /Prevention Month. We will have activities all month to bring awareness of ways to stop bullying as wells as teaching kindness. Also, the last week of October is Red Ribbon Week. The theme is "Drug Free Looks Like Me". Our counselors have planned an awesome week to inform students of the dangers of drug use, especially while their brains are still growing.
October 14th is the end of Quarter 1. Please spend time this weekend checking Canvas and talking about the importance of completing assignments. I would love to see ALL of our students on the Principal Scholar list or the A/B Honor Roll!
We are still looking for parents to be part of the SIC. If you are interested, please complete the Google Form below. For more information on what the School Improvement Council does visit https://sic.sc.gov/.
Have a wonderful weekend Raider Nation!
Warm Regards,
Heather Andrus

October is National Bullying Prevention Month
Your School Counselors have been spending time in the classroom teaching and helping students to prevent bullying in our school. Here and below is a great resource for students and parents.
The school counselors showed their support of Suicide Prevention Month by handing out bags created by NAMI. The bags contained literature on suicide prevention, a mint, bracelet, and a temporary tattoo.
Guidance Department Wish List
When students look good, they feel good. When they feel good, they perform well in their classrooms. Please consider purchasing a quarter-zip pullover for our students for the fall and winter season. We need all sizes. If you see some anywhere cheaper, we will gladly accept those as well. Thank you all for your consideration in donating to our guidance department.
