McNamara Summer Reading 2020
News and Info about Summer Reading Programs and Access
Beat the Summer Slide with Your Local Library!
Research shows that reading over the summer supports your child in many ways. Reading over the summer helps prevent the "summer slide" where children loose progress they have made academically over the school year because they do not read or do school work. By reading even just a few books, children greatly reduce their risk of "summer slide", and they are more prepared for the school year in September!
