We Are ALL STARS in our own way!
- During school, area high schools will be visiting to talk to 8th graders about the programs they offer on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

- Please welcome Denise Hollingsworth (Substitute Spanish teacher K-5), and Chris Wozniak (Social Studies teacher, 6th grade) and Rebecca Hansen (Speech teacher) to BCS.
Berlin Police train staff in ALICE!

Important Informational Night - February 5th
Sergeant Varano from the Berlin Police will explain what ALICE is to parents.

Dr. Richards and Mrs. Groark meet with students.
Mrs. Groark joined Dr. Richards at this month's meeting with students. The topics for M.S. were the ALICE training, smart devices and students having a voice in the school.
Campfire Reading
Mrs Kaiser's 5th graders participated in a mock campfire reading. The campfire reading was a way to celebrate their published research papers.
Students create an alternative energy source
6th grade students researched and built a model of an alternative energy sources as a culmination of their Energy and the Environment unit.
Middle School Team Building
M.S. students who were selected as demonstrating good character participated in team building exercises.
BCS Preschool Program
Applications for the four year old BCS Preschool program* are now being accepted and are available on the district website, in Elementary and Middle School Offices or by contacting Mrs. Laura Behnke cstbehnkel@bcsberlin.org (email) or 856-768-7904 x 211 (phone). DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS FEBRUARY 22, 2019. *Participants in this program will be determined by a lottery drawing in February. This is NOT the CER preschool program.
