CELC News & Updates
Dear CELC Familles,
I hope you all enjoyed the fall break. I am grateful to have had the time with my family and friends. It was a week of fun and food! My fall break kicked off on Saturday! My day was packed with excitement! I started my morning with at the Elks Hoop Shoot contest with some of our MVLA students and Miss Camryn. Then, in the afternoon, I watched a SDSU's women's volleyball game with my daughter and her volleyball team. I ended the night with witnessing the GHHS football team win the CIF Open Championship at Snapdragon Stadium with my family and friends. What a fun way to launch my break!
A huge thank you to our amazing CELC PTA for organizing a very successful Turkey Trot! We are so thankful for all you do for our students!
Here are a few updates to help keep you informed:
Please see the message from our PTA below.
Students are expected to follow school rules at all times. Please help support safe, responsible, and respectful behavior while you are on campus with them before and after school.
ATTENTION: If your student is going to be absent for an extended period, please make sure to request an Independent Study Contract from the office at least one week in advance. This will ensure that your child's teacher has ample time to prepare assignments, and your student can receive attendance credit during their absence.
For transportation questions, please visit AUSD's website at https://www.alpineschools.net/page/transportation
I hope you have a great week!
Sincerely,
Tamara Ripke, Proud Principal
