Chalk Walk is the Round Rock area’s largest festival for the arts, drawing thousands of people to Round Rock in just two days!

The event is FREE to attend and takes place in Centennial Plaza in downtown Round Rock.

Friday, October 6 | 5:00pm – 10:00pm

Saturday, October 7 | 10:00am – 7:00pm

This large-scale festival is produced by Round Rock Arts, a 501c3 nonprofit arts organization, and we could not launch Chalk Walk and Arts Festival each year without the support of our generous sponsors, volunteers, board members, and other members of the community.

Round Rock Arts’ goal is to provide a celebration of the arts accessible to all, so admission to Chalk Walk and Festival is free. Art is the theme and chalk is the medium. From start to finish, participating artists will create art in full view of the public, who are encouraged to interact with the artists as they use their amazing talents to create beautiful “murals.”

We are kicking off PTA Reflections this week! The theme this year is “Within Reach.” Students have an opportunity to submit their work focusing on their interpretation of this theme. Students may choose one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. The deadline for students to turn in their work will be Thursday October 26th.

Here is the link to the entry form and official rules: www.txpta.org/reflections-participation

Please encourage your students to enter this wonderful program. It’s a great outlet for them to express their amazing talents and abilities.

Contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you so much for your support!
