Principal's Message
Dear Dolvin Families –
Welcome back to Semester 2! It’s rejuvenating to be back in the building with kids after a great holiday. I hope you enjoyed time with family and friends.
Our wonderful Bilingual Community Liaison, Mrs. Martha Holladay, has resigned effective January 13th. She is off to explore a new career opportunity. I wish her all the best in her future endeavors and thank her for the impact she has had on our Dolvin community.
Happy New Year!
Karen

Write Score
All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will be taking the Write Score Assessment on January 18th and 19th during their reading block. This is an online assessment that measures skills in writing standards and is aligned to the ELA writing section of the Georgia Milestones. The results from this assessment will be used by teachers to inform instruction and prepare students for the Milestones Assessment, which will be taken during the first two weeks of May. Write Score is not used as a part of a student’s grade. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Continuous Achievement
We have concluded our 18-week continuous achievement review. If your child qualified for a placement change for the second semester of the 2022-2023 school year, you have received notification from Ms. Halron. If you have any questions, please reach out to Carrie Halron at Halron@fultonschools.org.
