Home Learning News - Term 3 Week 6
Friday, 3rd September 2021
Kia ora koutou,
Another busy week down of Home Learning. It has again been really good to see students engaging in a different type of learning and trying their very best. The longer we go into lockdown is when students start to feel disconnected with their friends - so as a staff we will do our best to keep the zoom sessions coming as a way of connecting us all together.
This week was the first time we ran out contactless pick-ups of home packs. This ran really well and many parents came to pick up more home learning work. We will continue to operate this every school day under Level 3 lockdown (between the hours of 2pm-3pm), Please let your child's class teacher know if work home learning work is required. They will get this ready and leave it at the contactless pick-up area for collection.
Next week we will hear whether we continue at Level 3 or reduce to Level 2. What ever decision is make we have plans in place to support what ever learning environment is needed for our students.
