What an ELITE week!

Thank you to all our families who helped us have a GREAT week! I know there were issues with transportation, but you worked with us and by Friday our busses and routes were running much smoother. If you still have questions or concerns regarding transportation, please call us at BCMS and we will make sure you and your child have your routes, stop locations and times, and all your questions answered! We are so excited to be able to offer separate transportation for our Middle Level Learners and we know once all the routes are settled, this will be an amazing thing for our scholars! #BeBCMS

Notes from Ms. Raeburn

What an ELITE first week! It was a busy week at BCMS, but an awesome one! Everyone was able to get adjusted and get their routines down by Friday. I love that we are serving breakfast in our school this year and our scholars have done an amazing job coming into the building and waiting in the gym for dismissal. Changes are hard but they have handled it with ease! Schedules are rolling now and classrooms are coming alive! Our teachers have already started doing amazing experiments, read alouds, and Algebra equations! Our Lady Redskins softball team is undefeated, our football team is getting ready for their first game, and tennis is about to start this week. It will be a busy week at BCMS but that is how we like it! I am so excited for an even better week two that week one! #BeBCMS
We are ExExExCited this school year to focus on Kindness in our WIN (Whatever I Need) period! This week, and all throughout the year, our scholars will be challenged to find ways to be kind to each other and help support each other! Being a middle level learner is HARD work! It takes all of together supporting each other and encouraging each other! Miss George, our amazing counselor, has lots of great activities and learning planned for the year. Look for our KINDNESS cards hidden around the building and in classrooms. Check out the link above to learn more about the nationwide Kindness project! #BeKind

RISE UP 159!

Bryan County Middle School is excited to announce we have been chosen to be in an ELITE group of elementary and middle schools across the state of Georgia that will be using NFL FLAG Football to strengthen the physical fitness and the character of our scholars.

The Rise Up! 159 Program is the first of its kind anywhere in the world. Based on a number of variables, the Atlanta Falcons Football Club hand-picked one school from each county to create an exclusive roster of schools that will rise up as leaders in the campaign to bring NFL FLAG Football to every community in Georgia. BCMS has been chosen to represent Bryan County! As part of the Rise Up! 159 partners our students will be involved in many activities throughout the year!
