The Meetings in Review
Academic Achievement Recognition - Arcola Intermediate Students
Dr. Amy Mangano, Principal of Arcola Intermediate School, presented student achievement awards to 54 Grade 7 and 72 Grade 8 students for their accomplishments from last school year. The “M” Award recipients received recognition for attaining a 93% average in all of their courses for the 2017-2018 school term. This is an example of the great work that we accomplish together as parents, teachers, the Board and community in recognition of excellent student effort.
Special Meeting Scheduled
He further mentioned that the meeting is perpetuated by the need for the Board to address the information contained in the 2016 Facilities Assessment Study of all district facilities and where this same study projected an investment of $14,478,750 into Arrowhead Elementary School in the next 3-5 years.
Dr. Zerbe explained that no official actions will be made by the Board that evening, but will be accepting public comment at the conclusion of the meeting and will be soliciting comments afterwards on line.
