All profile sheets are due, regardless of any changes. if you have not done so already, please have your student turn in the profile sheet immediately to the office or their advisory teacher. If you have any questions, please contact Melissa Weidner @ m.weidner@upperadams.org.
GUIDANCE
Financial Aid Night
Financial Aid Information Night will be Tuesday, September 20 at 6:30. The webinar presentation can be accessed through a link that can be found in an email to all 11th and 12th grade students with the subject line "SIGN UPS" and through a link in the @biglerville_collegecareer Instagram biography. Students will need to register ahead of time and should do so as soon as possible. The Learning Commons will also be open that night if families would prefer to stream the event together. There will also be a translator in the Learning Commons to assist families that are interested.
College Rep Visits
Fall PSAT Information
The PSAT will be administered at BHS on Wednesday, Oct 12th. Sophomores (who are currently enrolled in Algebra II) and Juniors should be registering and will need cash or a check payable to BHS. The cost is $18.00. See attached flyer for details.

France and Spain Informational Meeting
"Join us on a trip to France and Spain! Happening March 15-24, 2023, students currently enrolled in Spanish or French classes are able to sign up. Students were given flyers to bring home this week, and an informational meeting will also be held on Monday, September 26th @ 7:00 pm over Zoom. If you are interested in attending, please email Holly Powery at h.bream@upperadams.org to receive the Zoom link."

- Frankie Brooks for being awesome.
- Shoutout to Megan Angstadt and Sadie Wicker for their Jellyfish craft project prep in Unified Art. They are awesome leaders! We have so many AMAZING mentors this year!
- Maia Niedererr's enthusiasm for To Kill a Mockingbird has been fantastic. She adds a great deal to discussions and helps to motivate others to join in.
- A shoutout goes to Austin Nyman-Roberts and Mason Singleton (juniors) who somehow keep up with Advanced English despite needing to leave early every day for Vo-Tech. Good job!
- Shoutout to Uriel Penna Torres and Isaac Bair for their amazing painting skills in Art Exploration. Uriel and Isaac are currently working on their Aboriginal Dot paintings. Stay tuned to check out their final pieces.
- A big shoutout to Gavin Redden in Driver Education. Gavin won Quizlet live 3 times in one class period as we all played and studied our 139 PA road signs. Awesome job!
- Kudos to Mason Keiper for being an overall pleasant person to be around. He comes to class everyday with a positive attitude and is always willing to help! ¡Gracias, Mason!
- Maestra Pecher would like to send a shout out to all of her Spanish students for putting up with her singing!
- Landon Anglin, Claire Roberts, and Gabriel Hollabaugh all serve as student council reps to the school board. These three students attended the meeting Tuesday evening. Gabe did a great job presenting the student report to the board! Way to go!
- A big shout out to Connor Tyson! He has really taken to Animation and creating / drawing characters with the graphic tablet. He uses his free time to come in and create. Great job Connor!
- Kudos to Kyle Hansen for helping a classmate in PE class.
- Destiny Thomas is a great student! She works hard and advocates for herself when she has questions. She is also very helpful to others.
- To Caitlyn Royal for tutoring another student in Chemistry. Her willingness to help out is greatly appreciated!
- Ms. Meeson would like to nominate her entire fourth-period English class because they're amazing and joyful and an incredibly bright spot in an already very bright day!
- Josh Cantrell and Peter Freitas for their outstanding service in our technology department. Their fast and friendly help is appreciated beyond words!
- Kudos to Brody Gardner (senior) for being so very honest when a teacher missed taking a point off his test! Nice job, Brody!
