National Night Out is Tuesday, Oct. 5!
National Night Out is only four days away and Sunnyvale Police Department has a lot of fun in store for you!
We hope you and your family have plans to join us at Town Center Park on Oct. 5 from 6 - 9 p.m for an evening full of fun and getting to know the first responders who proudly serve Sunnyvale.

- Bounce houses;
- DPS helicopter on sight;

Town transitions to new mass communication system
The Town of Sunnyvale recently underwent a migration to a new system for sending out mass communication and emergency alerts.
If you were registered with our previous alert system, your contact information and notification preferences were carried over to the new system.
If you are not registered, it is highly encouraged that you do so that you will receive critical information in the event of inclement weather or natural disasters.

October CERT class planned
Did you miss the CERT class that was held at Town Hall in July 2021? No worries! The EastTex Regional Community Emergency Response Team has scheduled another free two-day class that Sunnyvale residents may attend!
CERT is an all-volunteer organization that helps local law enforcement, fire, and emergency management when disasters strike. CERT members also assist during missing person searches and provide support for public events.
The next CERT class will be held on Oct. 16 and Oct. 23 in Terrell. You must sign up for both days if you are a new member. If you attended the first class in Sunnyvale and need to finish your second class, you may finish the second class in Terrell on Oct. 23.
