Grades 9, 10 and 11 Student Registration for Classes for 2023- 2024 School Year
The purpose of this message is to provide you with relevant information and timelines related to our “online” registration process for next school year. The registration process will allow you and your students to have access to course information online and register online at home.
The following timeline is planned as it relates to the registration process for next school year for students currently in grades 9-11.
January 3
Feel free to start scanning the various EHS curricular offerings for your student. The EHS Student Registration Guide is online on the EHS web site: https://ehs.district196.org/
You may search for courses by department or by name, in alphabetical order. Simply go to the EHS web site and click on Menu in the upper right hand corner. Then click the + next to Academics and then click Online Registration, finally click Registration Guide. Under Online Registration, you can also find Online Registration Instructions and Registration Cards by Grade Level.
January 11
Current 9th, 10th and 11th graders will meet in their PAWS classes to receive additional information and instructions related to the “online” registration process.
January 11 – January 26
With parental guidance, students may register online during this “open window” period of time. All instructions will be provided in PAWS on January 11.
Our intention is to have all of next year’s students at Eagan High School register online. We expect each student, with parental knowledge and guidance, to be able to access the internet and complete the process. Students will receive specific online registration instructions in their PAWS class on January 11
If you have questions, please feel to contact your student’s counselor at 651-683-6921 or send them an email.

January MidTerm Parent/Guardian and Teacher Conferences at Eagan High School
Friday, January 20 from 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM - no school for students on January 20.
Teachers will be seated in Department Groups - a map of teacher locations will be available on our web site.
We will be offering in person conferences and setting up in the same plan as we used for the October conferences. Parents/Guardians may park in either the South or the East Parking Lot.
Tara Hedlund will be working to set up available interpreters - especially if we can determine families who need this service and hopefully determine a day and time they would be attending.
Please send an email to tara.hedlund@district196.org to request interpreting services and set up a date and time.
Genesys Works Interest Meeting for Class of 2024
What is Genesys Works?
Genesys Works is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for students to work in meaningful, paid internships at top Twin Cities corporations. They also provide free college, scholarship, and financial aid assistance during their senior year of high school. This program is open to CURRENT JUNIORS who would have an internship their senior year.
Who are they looking for?
They are seeking students who are interested in having a successful professional career and want to be exposed to a business environment before starting college. While their internships are technology and business focused, they do not require any prior knowledge of technology or business to be a part of the program, Genesys Works will teach participants everything they need to know.
Want to learn more?
Any current junior interested in learning more about this program should attend the informational meeting to be announced, during PAWS in Lecture Room C.
Student Parking
Student vehicles in the Northview Elementary lot will be towed at the owner's expense.
Students Entering Eagan HS During the School Day
Maintaining security in our school during the school day is important. We want to be sure that only Eagan HS students, or students enrolled in our Career Development courses from District 196 schools, or those EHS students who travel from SES to EHS for one or two courses, are entering our building during the school day.
After 7:40 AM all students who enter the building travel in through the secure entry booths. Students will be expected to show their current student id card (which is issued free to all students each school year) at the entry booth station.
Any student who does not have the id card should stop in Attendance to request a replacement.
