Trimester Principal Award Winners

Last Friday, 1st Trimester Award Assemblies were held honoring all scholars for their hard work, dedication and achievement. Each scholar received a special award from their teacher recognizing their strengths in specific content areas. We are all so proud of their accomplishments thus far in the school year and can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds for them. In addition to the awards handed out by teachers, one scholar from each grade received the Principal's Award. Scholars receiving this award exemplify outstanding character, academic excellence and demonstrate daily the values of kindness, integrity and concern for their peers.

Winter Performance - Candyland

When: Thursday, December 17th

Tickets are now available for pick-up at the front desk or with Ms. Grant during extended care. Now that we are having 2 shows, families can each be allotted up to 5 tickets. TK and 1st grade families will enjoy the 5:00pm show and K and 2nd grade families will enjoy the 6:00pm show. Students must perform in both shows so the experience remains the same for all families. Regardless of grade, all students must be on campus by 4:30pm. Scholars are being asked to wear their favorite winter attire. Collard shirts for the boys and dresses for the girls are preferred. There will also be a reception area with seasonal treats and coffee.

Holiday Party

When: Friday, December 18th

Santa Clause is coming to town and making a special trip to our campus! Ms. O'Connor will be on campus to take pictures of the scholars with Santa. The school will enjoy a lunch pizza party together before they snuggle up to watch Polar Express and sip some delicious hot coco. Remember to come dressed in pajamas!

Please leave your $3 for the pizza party with Ms. Keen at the front desk.

ABC7’s “Spark of Love”

The holiday season is always the “Season of Giving.” We have teamed up with ABC7 & our local Firefighters in the Spark of Love Toy Drive Fund and are asking those who would like to participate to please bring an unwrapped gift for a child in need. We are trying to get the firefighters to come to the school on the morning of December 18th, so if you would like to participate, please send an unwrapped toy with your student that morning. If the firefighters are unable to come that morning, the Parent Organization will drop off the toys to the fire station across the street from the school.

We will miss you!

This is our last week before Winter Break. We hope you all have a safe and wonderful break and we will see you back on January 4th in the new year!
