TCCED Accreditation Visit is Complete!
Our accreditation visit concluded after dismissal today with positive comments made by the team chairman, Mr. Michael Davies. The entire team was impressed with our students, staff, and strong sense of community.
Thank you for all of your support during our accreditation this week. Thank you to those who spoke with the accreditation team members, providing feedback about our school.
I want to say a special thank you to all of the teachers and staff who worked so hard to prepare for the accreditation visit. Our school would not exist without the devoted and passionate educators who maintain Saint Rita traditions, challenge our students, and give of their time, talent, and treasure every day for the success of our students.
2017-2018 Enrollment
I am excited to welcome back our students for 2017-2018. Enrollment is opening to new families after spring break, so please take time to complete your re-enrollment packets online to guarantee your space. Saturday, April 15 is the deadline for financial aid applications as well as the last day for early bird enrollment fees.
If your family is not returning in the fall, we wish you the best at your new school. Please let the office know if you are not planning to enroll.
Third Quarter Report Cards
Third quarter report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, March 24. Iowa Assessment scores will be sent home with the report cards. The scores are your records to keep. Please sign and return the report card only.
Third Quarter Honors Convocation will be on Friday, March 31 after the 8 a.m. Mass.
Excessive Absences and Tardies
Additionally, the school handbook states that three tardies equal an absence, so students with excessive tardies are also at risk for losing credit.
Being in attendance and punctual are not only required by law, they are necessary for student success. Please support your child by getting him/her to school on time each day.
Thank you.
Spring Break
Sincerely,
Mrs. Mary Burns
Interim Principal
