Where Excellence is the Standard - Week of September 20th
RANDLE HIGH SCHOOL UPDATE
Dear Randle High School Families,
I hope the latest edition of The Randle Recorder finds everyone safe and sound after the recent hurricane. As we get ready for the last two weeks of the 6 weeks, I wanted to share it is not too late to raise your grades. Every teachers is willing to work with students to help them raise their grades. All teachers offer weekly tutoring; the schedule is provided below. If you have any concerns with your student(s) grades, please contact the teacher directly as soon as possible.
At Randle High School ZEROS ARE NOT PERMITTED. Many students do not realize the power of the zero and what one zero can do to their average. It takes three 100's to raise a student's average to passing if they have a 0. If a student has two 0's out of 6 for daily grades, their daily grade average will be failing. We will be starting Saturday tutorials as an extra layer of support for our Randle students. Please look for more information to come out soon.
Mr. Willie Yarber is starting the College and Career Club at TRHS. This will be an opportunity to visit college campuses and other post-secondary institutions and meet with college recruiters who will help explain the admission process. Our goal is to have every student at TRHS participate in the College and Career Club. Please contact Mr. Yarber for more information at email@example.com.
We want to make you aware of a social media challenge that is going around. Fortunately, we have not been impacted by the TikTok Devious Lick challenge (which is affecting school campuses nationwide). This challenge encouraged students to vandalize restrooms and other areas of the school building and then take a picture/video and post it in an effort to get "likes" on TikTok. Students are vandalizing campuses by stealing and destroying soap dispensers, signage, technology, and even personal items from teachers and staff. Please talk to your student(s) and stress the importance of having pride in our school and know that this type of behavior in unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

I encourage you to leave the house early to ensure your child arrives on time to class which begins at 8:15am. If you qualify for school transportation, that is the most efficient way for your child to get to school on time.
