Team Penn
Nov. 7 - 11
Huge SHOUT OUT to the following classes for excellent hallway procedures!
- Ms. McClure (PreK)
- Ms. Panetta (1st)
- Ms. Philpot (2nd)
- Ms. Gilstrap (2nd)
- Mr. Wallace (3rd)
- Mrs. Heck (3rd)
- Mrs. Champlin (5th)
- Mr. Thomas (6th)
Students in these classes are consistently walking/sitting in a straight line, demonstrate two feet in one square when standing in one place and are so quiet that the teachers are not redirecting in the hallway. Be sure to give out hallway points to these classes in LiveSchool! Keep up the excellent work!

Breakout Session 2
On Monday, November 14, during the faculty meeting, we again offer several different breakout sessions for you to choose to attend. Everyone MUST RSVP by Monday, November 7, at 3:00p.m. for the session so that we will have enough materials for the groups. Instead of typing your name to RSVP, type the session that you would like to attend and your email address.
Session 1: Organizing your classroom: Take a walking field trip to your classroom to implement specifically what you need to organize your room using number systems, color coding, bins and other ideas to make your classroom a more productive environment.
Session 2: Developing routines & procedures: Is your class running smoothly? Join me as I share what I have learned throughout my teaching career on how procedures are directly related to a smooth flowing class. Participants will be able to brainstorm, create, practice, and teach a new procedure to introduce to your class.
Session 3: Classroom Culture: Includes how to be intentional with ideas that you can use to focus on relationships that make your class feel like a community.
Session 4: Attention-Getters: Brainstorm & practice cues and signals to gain the attention of your class.
