Microphone

THE MICROPHONES are a type of transducer a device which converts energy from one form to another. Microphones convert acoustical energy (sound waves) into electrical energy. Sound waves in the air (from your voice, for example) make the membrane vibrate. These vibrations move the permanent magnet back and forth, changing the magnetic field in the iron bolt. This changing magnetic field makes electrical current flow in the wire wrapped around the bolt. This current can be detected by recording equipment. Radio

radio will use electromagnetic induction in the sense that a changing magnetic field induces an electric field and an electric field induces a magnetic one. which the radio pick up as signals. the radio does not use a motor. Nikola Tesla made the radio back when he was alive, but now, in our time ,have perfected his creation of the radio and we have came along way from it. we have gotten more advanced by being able to broadcast T.V shows, music and news reports and many more.

The Telsa roadster In place of an internal combustion engine, the Tesla Roadster sports a bank of batteries -- the energy storage system . In developing a power source befitting such a high-performance car, Tesla went with technology proven in the laptop computer field -- rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. The Roadster contains 6,831 of them. They weigh about 1,000 pounds in total, and Tesla claims that they provide "four to five times the energy-density stores of other batteries" . The batteries fit into 11 sectors with 621 batteries each. A separate computer processor controls each sector to make sure all of the charging and discharging is handled smoothly. an electric car runs on a electric motor instead of a gasoline motor. all electric cars have batteries that you can recharge them at a station. since the car is electric it has a electric field and magnetic field and it uses a motor.

When a TV antenna catches a TV signal, it does not look the way it does when we see our favorite TV show, of course. The CRT, located inside the television set, particles within the transmitted TV or electromagnetic wave. The TV receiver, also located inside the TV, simply unlocks those suppressed signals on the broadcasted carrier wave. The TV station sends out a signal, the TV box interprets the signals in a way we all can understand. Phosphor paper, placed behind the TV glass, determines what color the image will or will not be. The type of phosphor paper in the TV depends on if it is a black and white or color TV. Black and whites have only one sheet, while color TVs have three sheets--red, green and blue. Light bounces on the sheets in different patterns. Again, what color you see depends on the light arrangement.

Phone

For proper phone operation, sound must be conveyed along the same wires that activate the ringer. The handset of all telephones contain a microphone that allows sound pulses to be transferred into electrical pulses. The other integral part of the handset, the receiver, converts the audibly modulated electrical current back into sound waves and the voice is heard. Transmission and reception of the voice, therefore, depends on both sound waves and electrical pulsation.

The computer uses electromagnetic induction because when the motor is working hard the computer begins to become warm because of the mechanical parts that are working inside the computer. computers use an electric field when they are working because you have too connect to many things and that uses electricity and also the computer uses electric field to power the screen.

How humans have used electromagnetism to improve our lives

there are many ways that we have used magnetism in our lives and we have progressed a lot since the beginning of the start of electromagnetism. one of the biggest ways we have came up with is security. we have many types of ways of using it like in air ports, the metal detectors that they have us walk through uses electromagnetism because it detects any metal that we have on us.

security cameras use electromagnetism. all of the power that goes through them so they can just be able to work and move around.

another way that we have used it to improve our lives is the technology that we have came up with to help us with our lives. on the computers when we use it we are using the mechanical parts of the computer and the more we use it the more electric energy comes out of the computer and therefore it makes the computer warmer because it is doing work.

Iphones are another way that have improved our lives. we have came from land lines to big brick phones and then to Iphones. iphones use electricity and we can communicate all over the world now and it has become far more advanced in every way possible .



Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was born in 1856 in Smiljan Lika, Croatia. He was the son of a Serbian Orthodox clergyman. Tesla studied engineering at the Austrian Polytechnic School. He worked as an electrical engineer in Budapest and later emigrated to the United States in 1884 to work at the Edison Machine Works. He died in New York City on January 7, 1943.

During his lifetime, Tesla invented fluorescent lighting, the Tesla induction motor and developed the alternating current (AC) electrical supply system that included a motor and transformer, and 3-phase electricity.Ten years after patenting a successful method for producing alternating current, Nikola Tesla claimed the invention of an electrical generator that would not consume any fuel. This invention has been lost to the public. Tesla stated about his invention that he had harnessed the cosmic rays and caused them to operate a motive device.
